During the month of October, we reflected together on God’s faithfulness as we think about our own call to faithful living as disciples of Jesus Christ. God has always been with us, leading us and guiding us on the journey. Our task during this season was to search for signs of God’s work among us and to gauge our own faithfulness in light of what God has done in the past and will do for us in the future. We hope and pray that this time of prayer and reflection will bear fruit as we move to express our commitments for the coming year to support the ministries of our church through our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness. This represents the vow made when we become members of the church, and is affirmed every time we baptize a new person into fellowship. Of course, we hope that all will express a pledge of support to the financial well-being of our congregation, however we believe that we likewise need those who love City Road to be in prayer for our ministries; to show up at our worship services and events; to share ALL of the gifts that God has given them; to serve others and share God’s love; and to witness to their faith in Jesus Christ and invite new persons into our midst. We ask you to prayerfully review the form below asking God to guide you in determining your commitment goals for 2016. As always, if you have any questions about our ministries or need to talk about God’s call on your life, I invite you to come talk with me or one of the other pastors. We’re excited about what God’s doing here at City Road. We look forward to being on the road with you in the coming year.
