Jim Walden has informed us that Esther Walden’s surgery was successful and the doctors are hopeful for her recovery. They were able to remove most of the tumor cells but they will have to continue monitoring her on a yearly basis. The tum
or was located in an area with a couple of arteries and while the doctors believe no damage was done, Esther will be monitored in the ICU for a spell. She will likely be in the hospital for several days.
