Throughout Lent, we will be looking at the assigned lectionary texts from the Old Testament in worship, thinking about the call to head toward the promised land. On Wednesdays for five weeks at 6:30 p.m., Jay will be leading a study on Zoom looking at the assigned passages from the New Testament: Jesus’ temptation, his prayer for Jerusalem, the Parable of the Fig Tree, the Prodigal Son, and the story of Lazarus. Come join this time of reflection on the scripture throughout the season of Lent.
