Changes to Sharing in Communion

Since the middle of the summer, we have been offering “drive-thru” communion since we could not gather together in church. This has honestly been a great experience, allowing connections with one another in a safe way.

With the reopening of in-person worship, we are discontinuing drive-thru communion effective Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. We believe that it’s safe enough to gather together for communion given the percentage of folks vaccinated and the infection rates in Nashville.

While we won’t be doing drive-thru, we WILL be preparing communion to-go for you to take to your friends and family who are unable to attend in-person. Also, if you are unable to get to the church for communion, we will deliver communion to you upon request. If you need communion delivered to you, please email Jay at pastor@cityroadchapel.org.

We look forward to seeing all of you at the table on Easter Sunday!
