Not long after our in-person gatherings shut down at City Road Chapel, a group of us began to gather online for prayer via Google Meet. The Tuesday Prayer Group has met almost every week for the past year, offering a time to check-in and pray for one another, the needs of our church, and our world.
When we set up the group, we scheduled it in the afternoon, knowing that most folks were confined to their homes. As things are opening up and more and more folks are going out (or going to work), we’ve seen a drop in participation and believe it’s time for an update.
So, beginning Tuesday, March 30, 2021 (the Tuesday of Holy Week), the Tuesday Prayer Group will become Tuesday Evening Prayer. This time of devotion and prayer will be at 6 p.m. every Tuesday.
This online gathering will include a time of devotion and meditation, a sharing time for all who are online, and a time of open prayer where we lift up the needs of one another and the world. This will be available on Zoom and through your telephone.
