Drive Through Communion on Sept. 6, 2020

One of the great losses for many of us during the COVID epidemic has been the inability to come together for the sacrament of communion. Last month we tried out “drive through” communion and folks liked is so much that we will be continuing this practice on the first Sundays until we can meet for in-person worship.

Sunday, September 6 will be the next first Sunday and we will be hosting communion again outside the main entrance of the church. Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another.

All who are interested are invited to drive by the entrance between 10 a.m. and noon. Pastor Jay and others will be present to serve you in your car. You are also invited to take consecrated elements with you to serve others who are unable to travel to the church. Pastor Jay will also lead a service of thanksgiving and consecration at 9:30 a.m. on the church’s Facebook page (https://facebook.com/cityroadchapel).
